V’spirit Premier Cruises


DAY 1: HANOI – LAN HA BAY – TRA BAU (Lunch and dinner)

09.00 Await the collection of the guide and driver in your hotel lobby. Once they have arrived, we will begin your transfer to Hai Phong city.

12:00 Rest at the harbour as the V’Spirit Premier Cruise completes its final preparations. You can board shortly after this and enjoy your welcome drink.

13:00 Sit down in the dining room for a delicious lunch and a scrolling view of the wonderfully unique limestone towers outside the windows.

15:15 Our first stop on the tour will be to the Tra Bau area, where you can take our kayaks onto the water and enjoy a thoroughly peaceful experience. Swimming is also available here.

17:00 We return to the V’Spirit Premier Cruise to catch the daily spectacle of a gorgeous sunset, as well as the happy hour at the bar. Enjoy the cooking class put on by our talented chefs as they give you an insight into Vietnamese cuisine.

19:00 Along with a fantastic dinner, you have a very special performance of traditional Vietnamese music in the dining room or on the top deck. Before you retire to your cabin, perhaps you would like to head to the bar, the spa or join the crew for some squid fishing.

DAY 2: LAN HA BAY – DARK & BRIGHT CAVE – HANOI (Breakfast & lunch)

06:00 Begin your new day with the Tai Chi session on the top deck, run by our onboard Tai Chi teacher as the sunrise greets you from behind the mountains.

07:00 Enjoy breakfast in the fresh air and peaceful beauty of the Bay. 

08:30 On sampan boats, some residents of the bay will show us their home by taking us to the Dark & Bright caves, two gorgeous caverns with a vast and enclosed lake on the other side.

10:30 Return to the ship and sit down for a lovely lunch buffet during our approach to the harbour.

11:45 Stepping off the V’Spirit Premier Cruise at the harbour, you board the bus and head back to Hanoi.

Notes: Due to cruising conditions, itineraries may change without prior notice. Wi-Fi is available in the restaurant/bar area, but internet connectivity is limited due to the geography of Halong.

When you arrive at Noi Bai Airport, our driver will welcome you at the airport terminal and transfer you to the hotel in town. You will check-in at the hotel and you will visit the centre of the city on your own.

DAY 2: HANOI – HALONG BAY (Breakfast, lunch & dinner)

08:00 – 08:30: Our tour guide and the bus will pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi old quarter.

08:30: Departure to Halong Bay for 3.5 Hours.

10:00: You will arrive in Hai Duong province where you have a 20-minute short break.

12:00: Arrive at Tuan Chau harbour.

12:15 Welcome to cruise and enjoy your welcome drink, get a brief introduction about cruise and safety guidelines. Check-in your cabin.

12:30: Enjoy Vietnamese seafood and vegetarian lunch while cruising in the magnificent Halong Bay, admiring the fascinating rock formations in the bay.

15:00: Our cruise will pass the Tung Gau Area. The airy and fresh air, cool breezes, blue sea and sky and natural seascape will captivate any visitors setting foot here. Tung Gau of Lan Ha Bay is extremely suitable for kayaking and swimming and then visiting Halong Pearl Farm Village.

17.30: Come back to our cruise and relax.

19:30: Time for dinner, enjoying special food on the cruise.

21:00: Evening entertainment starts. Play games on the cruise: cards game, chess, karaoke, squid fishing and overnight on the cruise.

06.30: Early morning sun risers can enjoy Tai Chi lessons on the sundeck.

07.00: Morning view of the bay’s landscape with a cup of tea or coffee. Have breakfast while admiring the view.

08:00: Arriving at Sung Sot Cave (Amazing Cave) and joining the guide in visiting and exploring the cave.

10:00: Check out and enjoy a fantastic cruise on the bay. Join cooking class guided directly by chefs of the cruise. You have a chance to practice Vietnamese traditional dishes such as spring roll and other famous cuisines of Vietnam.

11:00: Enjoy lunch on the cruise.

12:00: The cruise is landing at Halong Bay harbour. The tourists say goodbye to sailors and finish the cruise.

12:30: Return to Hanoi by shuttle bus.

14:30: Stopover in Hai Duong province to visit a ceramics workshop.

16:00 – 16:30: Arrive in Hanoi. Visit Hanoi until 20:30. Our staff will pick you up at the hotel, transfer you to the train station and take the night train to Sapa. Stay overnight on the train.

DAY 4: LAO CAI – SAPA –Y LINH HO – LAO CHAI – TA VAN (Breakfast, lunch & dinner)

Arrive at Lao Cai train station at 06:30 am. Our driver will welcome you at the exit gate of Lao Cai train station, drive 1 hour by shuttle bus and transfer you to Sapa Center. Have a free shower and breakfast at the hotel.

09:00 am: Our tour guide will pick you up at your hotel, then we will travel 3 km walking down to the southeast of Sapa along the side of Muong Hoa valley to Y Linh Ho village of the Black Hmong. Visit a local school and local houses then continue 4km of trekking down to Lao Chai village of the Hmong.

Have a picnic lunch on the way.

After lunch, we trek more than 4 km through terraced rice fields to Ta Van village of the Dzay minority people. This is a good chance to learn about their local architecture, daily lifestyles and customs. Have dinner and stay overnight at Ta Van homestay.

Have breakfast at the Homestay. At 08:00 am, we will trek on a hilly trail through the Bamboo forest to Giang Ta Chai village where you can see the Red Dzao minority people. You can make a stop at a waterfall, take photos or go swimming if weather permits. Have a soft break at rattan bridge—the oldest rattan bridge in Sapa. Visit some houses and go to Su Pan village where you can have your lunch served.

In the afternoon, we will ascend to the main road where the bus is waiting for your journey back to Sapa.

DAY 6: HOA LU – TAM COC (Breakfast & lunch)

At 08:00 am: Meet your tour guide at your hotel. We will drive around 2.5 hours to Hoa Lu—the historic capital of Vietnam and the famous ancient temples of the Le and the Dinh Dynasties. You can see the royal citadel where the emperors lived and know more about part of feudal dynasties and historical periods in Vietnamese history.
